Dear Parents and Guardians,

Choir will meet on Day 4 from 2:35 – 3:10 P.M. We will begin September 11, 2009.

The main goal for choir will be to expand our singing skills and repertoire and to perform for events. We perform at many events throughout the year such as the Veterans program at school, caroling at the Morrow Home, walking and singing in the Sparta holiday parade, singing at our holiday school program, and singing for awards day. This is a year-long commitment that the boys and girls need to take seriously in order to represent Sparta well as we perform at these public functions.

Please consider these requirements for participation in choir:
Must enjoy singing and being an enthusiastic participant!
Must be able to attend all rehearsals (2 unexcused absences means dismissal)
Must be a team player, work for the good of the group
Must show the ability to listen, wait and maintain focus while Mrs. Bright works
with sections of singers
Must show desire to improve in skill and ability
Must show evidence of being trustworthy in all places, school, home and community
Must return form on or before Sept. 11
