Recorder Information

Dear Parents and Guardians,

All music students will be learning to play the recorder during the school year. The recorder is a pre-band musical instrument we study to aid in learning note names and caring for and playing an instrument. The recorder we will be using is a two-piece plastic Tudor recorder. I will provide many songsheets for the boys and girls to practice playing. If you already have a recorder that is in good playing condition, please disregard this order form.
There are school recorders available for use, which have been sterilized. However, I highly recommend that the students purchase their own recorders. Not only will the students be more responsible with their recorders, but also because the recorders will be used in 3rd through 6th grade music class.
If interested, please fill out the order blank and return to Mrs. Bright, in the music room, as soon as possible. No orders will be accepted after Wednesday, September 16, 2009. We will be ordering directly from Dana’s Music so please make checks to Dana’s Music for the exact amount. Cash must be in the exact amount also.
